11/01/05 - Coaching is the Path for former Wildcat Huduca! Marcie Haduca (Class of 2000) is both an alumni of Watsonville High School and UC Santa Cruz. Marcie competed in Volleyball and Basketball at WHS and then went on to play college basketball at UC Santa Cruz, where she finished her senior season as the teams leading scorer. "Coach Heduca" is now an assistant coach at Holy Names University in Oakland, and her team is currently ranked #7 in the Nation! Marcie has also been accepted to the University of San Francisco's graduate school. So once again she will have a busy schedule with basketball and books! We congratulate Marcie on both her athletic and academic success! Go WILDCATZ!
11/01/05 - Former Wildcat Jillian Cassel Plays NCAA Division I Softball 2003 Graduate Jillian Cassel begins her third season of softball at NCAA Division I, Santa Clara University. Jillian was a stand out tennis, basketball, and softball player at Watsonville High School and made the Santa Clara softball team as a walk-on. "Jillian has the work ethic, desire, and the right attitude to compete at the Division I level" says her former varsity basketball coach Annette Baity. Jillian is a BioChemistry major, and hit her first (GRAND SLAM) home run last season as a sophmore. We wish Jillian a great 2005-2006 season and academic year! GO WILDCATZ!
